Making Cannington's Canada Day Festival as affordable as possible for everyone to enjoy is one of our top priorities. With the great help of our event co-sponsors, sponsors and partner organizations, and The Government of Canada this goal is more easily achieved.
The Cannington Lions Club also receives some event funding through our BBQ & Concession as well as our Beer Tent.
There is no admission cost to attend the event and enjoy the classic and custom cars & truck show and enjoy so much more. However, even with the financial support received the costs of the event still are not fully covered. With an operating budget of over $30,000 some activities must have a price attached.
Activities such as the youth inflatables and rides, ring toss, and facepainting require either activities tickets and/or wristband. Each activity is "priced" differently and will be marked as such.
Activities tickets and wristbands can be purchased at the event main table. Wristbands and activity tickets may be purchased with cash, debit, visa or mastercard.
BEER TENT TICKETS ARE PURCHASED ONLY AT THE BEER TENT
ACTIVITY TICKETS
Activity tickets can be used for any of the youth inflatables and rides as well as games like the ring toss. The tickets are also used for food, beverages, and concession snacks at the Lions' charity BBQ and Concession area.
The tickets may be purchased individually or in bundles. The following is the pricing schedule for the tickets:
Single Ticket $1.25
13 Tickets $15.00
18 Tickets $20.00
These tickets are non-refundable and may only be used on the day of the event. The tickets hold no cash value.
Cost of food items (payable in tickets only) is posted on the day of the event. (Check back here later in June as well)

FUN AND EXCITEMENT!
PLAY ALL DAY WRISTBAND
An economic way for families to save money and enjoy the whole day is by purchasing a "Play All Day" wristband. Wristbands are still only $25.00 each and they entitle the person to enjoy all activities (except food and ring toss) all day long. Children can go on the rides and inflatables the entire day for one price.
As mentioned, items available at The Lions Charity BBQ and Concession area must still be purchased using Activities Tickets.
Wristbands are not redeemable. Should your wristband appear that it is about to come off you should immediately return to the main table. DO NOT take the wristband off in any way unless you are finished using it. A new wristband will not be provided if the old wristband has been removed, stretched, or altered in any way
If the wristband appears that it has been transferred from one individual to another the use of the wristband may be denied by event staff and the wristband will be confiscated onsite.

BEER TENT
The Cannington Lions Club operates the Canada Day Beer Tent. The Beer Tent is restricted to patrons 19 years and over according to LLBO requirements and Township of Brock Municipal Alcohol Policy.
Purchases of alcoholic beverages may only be done using applicable tickets sold in the Beer Tent Only. Limits are placed on the number of tickets sold to a single person in one transaction. Tickets are not refundable and carry no cash value.
Snacks are available free of charge in the Beer Tent to patrons. Other food must be purchased at The Lions Charity BBQ and Concession area outside the Beer Tent.
This year The Cannington Lions Club is dropping the cost of Beer and Coolers in The Beer Tent!
Beer: $4.00 per ticket
Coolers: $5.00 per ticket
